The Malaria Pf Ag Rapid Test is a lateral flow chromatographic immunoassay for the qualitative detection of Plasmodium falciparum (Pf) specific protein, Histidine-Rich Protein II (pHRP-II), in human blood specimen. This device is intended to be used as a screening test and as an aid in the diagnosis of infection with plasmodium. Any reactive specimen with the Malaria Pf Ag Rapid Test must be confirmed with alternative testing method(s) and clinical findings.

SUMMARY AND EXPLANATION OF THE TEST

 

The Malaria Pf Ag Rapid Test is a lateral flow chromatographic immunoassay. The test strip components  consist of: 1) a burgundy colored conjugate pad containing monoclonal anti- pHRP-II antibody conjugated with colloid gold （pHRP II-gold conjugates), 2) a nitrocellulose membrane strip containing a test band (Pf) and a control band (C band). The Pf band is pre-coated with polyclonal anti-pHRP-II antibodies, and the C band is pre-coated with goat anti-mouse IgG.

SUTEIKTI REAGENTAI IR MEDŽIAGOS

 

1.Each kit contains 25 test devices, each sealed in a foil pouch with two items inside:

a. Vienos kasetės įrenginys.
b. Vienas sausiklis.

2. 25 x 5 µL mini plastic droppers.

3. Kraujo lizės buferis (1 buteliukas, 10 ml).

4.Vienas pakuotės lapelis (naudojimo instrukcija).

 

LAIKYMAS IR TINKAMUMO LAIKAS

 

1. Bandymo prietaisą laikykite supakuotą sandariame folijos maišelyje 2–30 ℃ (36–86 F) temperatūroje. Neužšaldykite.

2. Tinkamumo laikas: 24 mėnesiai nuo pagaminimo datos.
